We etched and cut a maple wood veneer to make personalized badges, complete with synthetic suede lanyards, for this San Francisco-based software company. Thanks to Philipp Göllner for the excellent on-site photographs of this summer camp-themed conference.

Friends of Type are four friends who needed a new friend to help with laser-cutting grip tape. Their skatetastic entry for the 4th annual Bordo Bello AIGA charity fundraiser pops and pleases as each typographic style shreds your eyeballs.

GROW INTERACTIVE MASON JARS / GLASS
Grow asked BIG SECRET to etch 500 mason jars to help celebrate the housewarming of their newly renovated historical building. Party people drank cocktails from the jars, and proceeds from the night benefited the Five Points Community Farm Market. As a gift for their new kitchen, we also provided a special jar featuring a laser-etched outline of the new building for each employee.

Fortunate recipients of these one-of-a-kind wedding invitations discovered a concealed laser-engraved bamboo padlock hidden inside their unique vintage book. The book pages were laser-cut to form a padlock-shaped hollow.

These laser-cut wooden boards were used as stencils to shape thyme, cinnamon, pepper, and other cooking ingredients into an accurate (and flavorful) world map.

BETTER HOUSING COALITION TROPHIES / WOOD VENEER
These wonderfully unique trophies with laser-cut icons made use of 65 pieces of reclaimed wood veneer samples. They were designed by Noah Scalin of Another Limited Rebellion for the Better Housing Coalition's Groundbreaker event.
WEDDING INVITATIONS / PAPER
We laser cut and scored the outer envelope for this sleek wedding invitation designed by art director Matt Clack. Utilizing the ability to gang multiple envelopes per sheet while scoring them simultaneously, this efficient collaboration allowed the happy couple to receive their invitations quickly and assemble them easily.
ARCHIVALIST 5 ZINE / PAPER
Artist, screen printer, sandwich consultant and Lakeside local legend Travis Robertson delights readers with this fifth installment of his zine, The Archivalist. BIG SECRET engraved and cut the delicate hand-drawn shapes on the front and back covers.
TINY AUCTION TYPECASE / WOOD
This small piece of art for "Tiny Auction" was featured in the holiday Bizarre Market with 100% of auction proceeds benefiting Richmond Young Writers. At just 3 inches square, each miniature object inside was precisely etched, sliced, and fitted into the maple box, which was also produced on our laser. These coffee tumblers were laser-marked with the Park Group logo and personalized. Using a rotary attachment, we have the capacity to work with cylindrical items including glassware, mag flashlights and candles.

Our business cards are produced from a single-core matte board and are (of course) laser etched, perforated and cut. Our BIG friend quickly transforms from calling card to pop-up figurine when you need a desk buddy.

Wood is one of our favorite materials to work with - the laser shines when engraving and cutting all types of hardwood, softwood, and wood veneers. Signage is just one application that displays the crisp contrast achieved when using a wood medium. With a range as small as 1/200th of an inch, the threshold of precision is unmatched.
